Hola and prynhawn dda from (actually for once!) Sunny Wales 🏴! Since the last blog post I have been home for a few days but I couldn’t leave the blog with a picture of the motorway. I also felt we couldn’t truly say this adventure was over until I was right back where this trip started. So go there I went to close this out properly.
So here we are back in lovely Ceredigion, specifically in New Quay. Yes in the beer garden of the Black lion pub nearly 2 years ago now on a cool September Saturday afternoon in 2024 a conversation with a good pal turned this great adventure from an idea to a project that got planned and then acted on. It would only be right to come back to where it started!
As for me, so far being home has been a little weird but it has been quite relaxed and nice. I think a bit part of that was having the good fortune of coming home in the midsummer. Since I have been back it’s been nice catching up with friends and family and just generally taking things easy for a few days. In short I will say it’s good to be home but this definitely isn’t the end of my travels I think.
I will close by saying a very big thank you to everyone who has followed this journey for the last 10 months! This may be the end of the trip but this isn’t the end of the journey I feel. As for what’s next for me I have a few weeks to rest up before I have to head back to work, during which I am just going to be taking it easy and having a bit of a break from social media.
As for what’s next for this channel I am unsure though I have some ideas for what to do with this blog which I am going to have a play round with. Right off the bat I am thinking to try to expand on it and turn it into a book but how that will take shape I don’t know yet.
If anyone has any suggestions or something specific they would like me to cover please comment, I am open to any feedback.
That is pretty much it folks! Fin del blog for now though might be coming out with some ideas in the near future on the stories so keep an eye out for that.
